All the Holy Scriptures say that aware or not, we are all on an ethereal path in search of our inner peace. The secret of successful living is the knowledge of self-realization that empowers and manifests itself in various ways. I paint with this philosophy in my heart and with my brush.
An Indian artist based in Dubai; I have been painting since childhood. I am an MBA in International Business and have worked as a Visual Merchandiser with leading international brands like Lacoste, Benetton, Unilever for over 13 years. I have been pursuing my love of art for over two decades now, having honed my skills by seeking out and learning from master artists and found my own style.
My paintings are modern, contemporary works on Canvas and paper portraying the belief that active life rests on thoughtful reflection. My paintings take inspiration from my love for color and nature. The form and color seems to exist for each other in a nurturing space, which gives the freedom to reflect on life even amidst mundane and the ordinary.
Many homes and offices around the world have my paintings in their collections. I have participated in various group exhibitions in India and Dubai.
I was voted and won the Top 20 Emerging Artists by World Art Dubai 2019.
My works were shortlisted from hundreds of entries for the ‘Women in Art’ exhibition, Dubai in 2019 & 2020 & Common Ground Art Exhibition, Dubai in 2019.
I, along with 10 other artists have represented Team UAE in the Olympiart 2019 hosted by IWS India in December 2019 in India.
My watercolor works are part of a 4-country exhibition by Fabrianoin Aquarello 2019-2020 representing UAE.
Another watercolor artwork was selected to be displayed in Italy at the prestigious Fabrianoin Aquarello 2020.
In addition to creating artworks, I enjoy mentoring kids and adults in exploring and eventually falling in love with art. I am an art mentor with Artezaar and have mentored their kids’ arts competitions. In addition, I independently takes art workshops through private, group and online classes.
