Mixed Media Portrait
The portrait in this painting was inspired by a photo of a Syrian refugee that had to flee Syria looking for a better future. Her vague stare is one filled with uncertainty. She is painted in black and white, while her surroundings are filled with colors to represent the contrast between a painful past and a hopeful future. The artist used mixed media, a mix of collage and acrylic paint to create a rich and layered piece. She has also used Asian script in the collage to represent the confusion and the unknown of starting a life in a new country with language and culture barriers.

After the order has been placed, the artwork will be delivered to customers throughout the UAE within 3-5 working days.
Rest of the World
For International orders, the delivery may take 10-14 days after the order has been placed. The shipping fee will be calculated separately and communicated to you the buyer by the Artezaar Team before dispatch.
You will receive an email order confirmation and payment confirmation as soon as the order is processed. Our products are delivered using our trusted delivery partners, who will contact you to arrange a convenient time to deliver your package.
Note that if you are not available to receive the order after confirmation to the courier, and we need to arrange a second delivery, an additional delivery fee of AED 40 will be charged to you for re-arranging the artwork drop off within the UAE. The charge will have to be paid as cash to the courier company.
