Adam and Eve, according to Abrahamic religions were the first man and woman. A typical picture would show them by an apple tree; but the way I see them is that they are the first ones to feel God’s most beautiful creations- Nature. We all are a part of His creation and finally return to Him. Being close to nature brings peace and is food for the soul- helps keep one’s spirit balanced. What we have ok Earth- all the natural resources are a gift to mankind which we must cherish. Another take on Adam and Eve according to me is that they have to be in sync to accomplish what they were created for. Now, this is true in anybody’s life also; two or more people have to be in sync to succeed in their tasks (running a house, company, sports involving teams).

To convey these two messages- sync and cherish nature, I have engraved ‘My Adam and Eve’ in symmetry as a part of a tree. Their roots close to Mother Earth laying a strong foundation for humanity. I love using a modelling paste because it highlights the subject of my painting. In this case, I have used it in detailing Adam and Eve, the tree bark and the roots. The gold shimmer (very subtle) blends with Adam and Eve along with the tree. The colors are very pleasant and soothing just like our Mother Nature. This painting will stand out, at the same time blend well with any interior.
