Abstract Acrylic Painting

Alice in Wonderland is a painting that means quite a lot to me as an Artist. It projects the idea that nothing that ever happens is forgotten, even though we don't remember it. Everything that we experience, sad, happy, true or imaginary... the thought is always there, deep within and waiting to resurface. This painting also projects the idea that imagination is a powerful thing that can help us create a beautiful word, the way we see it and long for it. To me, the colors I chose for this magical painting project a satisfaction that I longed for. I was going through a block, an emotional one at the time. I couldn’t paint the way I wanted for a while and started to think that I might not to… However, I kept on top of it, just doodling and playing with paint on paper. One day, I grabbed a canvas, some acrylic paint, some nice music and let the emotions flow until Alice in Wonderland took shape.
