Say “butterfly” and I’m swimming in the sunshine. It was sprawled in the grass. Blowing on a blade yo make it whistle and watching the sky for small fluttering things wearing rainbow wings. My work called Amazonian Butterfly was inspired by the beauty and the power of “the butterfly effect”. Imagine the calming effect this small creature can have on a person’s mind just by showing up with its abundant beauty. The art is of acrylic medium and has gold leaf on it. The art is in 2 parts and can be arranged in any way as per the vision of its holder. The beauty of this majestic piece is sealed with resin to give the forever young look. As our souls were born in the colors of nature, each of us is attracted to butterflies and their sheer beaty mystifies us.
