Nature Acrylic Painting

This Painting is inspired by my childhood memories. Our family had gone on a vacation to Kullu Manali when I was mesmerized by the vibrant orange-red canopy covering the whole landscape. As a kid, I was confused and curious to know the reason behind such a dramatic transformation of green pigment to orange, red, and yellow. And, I was told about the Autumn season. This trip to Manali in the Autumn season was a picture-perfect treat for a young artist like me. I was inspired to do this painting because of the human experience of Autumn. If Spring represents birth and childhood and Summer represents youth, Autumn represents maturity and adulthood. Autumn has a contradictory character, which has both positive and negative perspectives. It's the Equilibrium of emotions, it depends on how we take it. Autumn also signifies the completion of a never halting cycle in nature. Autumn is a season for balancing light and dark, letting go, and impermanence of things. I have tried to balance the harmony between bright vibrant and dark shades, which put together gives us the feel and character of Autumn.
