The Bayt (meaning home in Arabic) is an abstract painting with textured plaster and acrylic paint on canvas. Painted in orange and yellow to depict a sunset sky and purple to depict a protected home. This piece was created in remembrance of the millions of people who currently have nowhere safe to lay their heads. The artist hopes to evoke gratitude for the small things we take for granted during periods of chaos in our lives - a home that is safe and protected.

Deeride is an abstract artist currently based in Dubai. With a love for nature and color, she explores her creativity through abstract paintings and mixed media pieces on canvas. Her pieces are inspired by a moment in time or a glimmer of an emotion that is treasured within every single piece of her original work. She loves to experiment with textures and metallic tones and embraces bold, vibrant colors in her pieces. Each element speaks to the human spirit and the intensity that is in Mother Nature.
