A potter's small pinch can create wonders in his creation. This is a mixed media painting, which took me a long time to create. The hand and pot are all made out of clay, depicting a top perspective of a potter's wheel in this painting. The painting brings forward the love, respect and connection a potter has with his medium – clay. There has to be harmony and synchronization between the potter and the pottery wheel, as they bring to life any piece together. The process of creating with clay is meditative, and it requires the potter to stop thinking rationally, and to give in to the unpredictability of the medium. It requires a lot of letting go, because what you want to make, doesn’t mean that the clay would like to do the same.
