Landscape Acrylic Painting

When you travel in India, in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the border is a lot of palm trees overlooking the beautiful paddy and hills. This beautiful view of my native place, Palakkad, inspired me to paint this landscape. I felt one with nature, and I wanted to recreate that scene.

During my travels, I visited many small villages, and each of them was beautiful in its own way. Likes it is said that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, similarly, I found wonderment and beauty in the day-to-day activities that the women did. They put in so much effort and hard work throughout the day. The palm branch is a symbol of victory, triumph, peace, and eternal life.
