As a young girl, she and her sisters used to pick out daisies from their lawn and flaunt them by dolling up their hair with them. The artist associates happy memories with them and hopes she did justice to their beguiling nature. She has worked together with the contrasting color of the bright orange ‘oriental poppies’ with the serene, off-white daisies into a background made with a fusion of bright and neutral colors. In an ideal world, everyone would have been a flower— carefree, nurturing, and confident!
