Flowers Painting

Flowers are the epitome of beauty. They are God’s finest workmanship. Painting flowers always brings me the highest level of tranquility. Any color, any species, and shape, any medium of paint, flowers always make the most beautiful paintings and through this piece of art I wanted to portray their true virtue. A flower doesn’t think of competing with the flower next to it, it just blooms. That is the idea on which I based this painting. Why must we compare ourselves to anyone or anything in this world when we ourselves are the true light of beauty and perfection? Painting these roses was a true bliss for me as they’re very close to my heart. As a young girl, my sisters and I used to pick out roses from our lawn and flaunt them by dolling up our hair with them. I associate happy memories with them and hope I did justice to their beguiling nature. I have also included the word blush in my title because that’s what I feel gives the beautiful rose its rich color, in my imagination these flowers blush while blooming due to the attention they receive thus blooming in such beautiful shades of pink and red!
