Alcohol Ink Painting

Oceans. beaches. waves. Words that truly put me back on a warm summer day, walking down the Jumeirah coast, cotton candy in hand, in my hair there’s sand. Oh to be in a summer morning, by the beach as the waves flush by. That’s the feeling I have tried to capture in this alcohol ink piece.

The blues and greens of the oceans are splashed around the page to capture the essence of gushing waves. The brown hues thrown in binds the waters with the warm, crystal sand of the beach. This painting was so versatile when I began with it. There’s something for everyone in it. It is a fun and yet serene piece to lighten up a heavy heart.
