Acrylic Painting

With "CAT Flower" I wanted to reimagine one of nature’s most elegant creations through the lens of fluid abstraction. Orchids have always fascinated me-they are symbols of luxury, strength, and delicate beauty, growing in ways that seem both fragile and incredibly resilient. Rather than painting a traditional flower, I allowed the acrylic medium to mirror the organic chaos of nature itself. The heart of the canvas features a deep, shadowy core where rich magentas, soft pinks, and hints of gold erupt outward, breaking through a veil of stark whites and smoky grays. This striking color palette mimics the velvety petals, hidden intricate veins, and mysterious depths of an exotic bloom. Using fluid techniques, I captured a single, suspended moment of expansion. The intricate lace-like cells and gossamer threads of paint mimic the microscopic textures of living tissue, while the elongated 40 x 80 cm format provides the perfect panoramic stage for this motion to unfold. For me, this piece is about the tension between control and letting go-much like the lifecycle of a flower, it is a celebration of beautiful, unpredictable evolution. As in the most of my pictures you will find something special - in this case its a Cats Face..
