Landscape Oil Painting

This artwork was inspired by my visit to Switzerland during the cold snowy season. It was so beautiful and scenic that I just captured in my mind how my painting is going to be. When a viewer looks at my painting I expect them to imagine going to such a place where they disconnect from the hustle of the city crowded life and imagine an isolated but relaxing time on a snowy mountain. The cottage is lit inside which shows it is occupied by inhabitants.

The trees are covered with patches of snow which shows it's a continuous snowfall. It's either dawn or dusk as one likes to look at it. But it's a busy life over here too as one has to collect wood to keep warm. I have used oil paints on Canvas and really enjoyed doing this artwork.
