Dubai Skyline Acrylic Painting

This beautiful double canvased acrylic on canvas painting is another from my Dubai series, which portrays the towers of the city in their majesty. The colors I chose to convey are light, mostly yellows and browns, showing Dubai in the daytime. The skyline is done using glass liner and filled in with acrylic glass paints. It is done on a double canvas, which makes it very convenient to move around as well as adds a modern touch in appearance on the wall. It has many famous skyscrapers on Sheikh Zayed Street as well as around the rest of Dubai. It has been done with accuracy true to the shape of the structures. The title comes from the line of skyscrapers running through the painting. Dubai is such a fast growing city and the tall buildings are a source of pride to the city, which is clearly portrayed here.. In the painting I hope to have conveyed the beauty and richness of life culturally as well as comfort and modernity. This is what I hope my viewers take away from it.
