Abstract Acrylic Painting

In Echoes of Emotion, I explored the balance between vulnerability and strength through abstract forms, colours, and expressive strokes. Painted in acrylic, this work is a reflection of the different emotions we experience and how they can shape us over time. The soft greys represent moments of quiet reflection, uncertainty, and emotions that we sometimes keep within ourselves. They reflect those quieter, heavier moments when we pause and try to understand what we are feeling. In contrast, the bold strokes of orange bring warmth, energy, and movement to the painting. For me, they represent the spark of resilience, hope, and renewal that can emerge even after difficult moments.

I wanted the colours and forms to come together in a way that shows how vulnerability and strength can exist at the same time. We can feel overwhelmed or uncertain, yet still find the strength to move forward. The abstract nature of the painting allows the emotions to be felt rather than clearly explained. I hope each viewer connects with it in their own way and finds something personal within the colours and movement. For me, Echoes of Emotion is a reminder that even our heaviest emotions can become a part of our growth and transformation.
