Woman Painting

The girl in this painting is standing with a pot of water. I named the work "Elixir Of Life" because she's giving life to those around her, whether they be exhausted travelers or not! The colors are vibrant and cheery which reminds us that no matter how much time passes there will always be hope for tomorrow; if you're willing to drink from your own glass until it runs dry then maybe YOU could give someone else some too?

This piece was made as you might imagine how people traveled back then - there were no cars or trains so they needed something else now- those days are gone though... The basis for my work was inspired by how people used to travel through ancient times before there were cars or even gasoline-powered vehicles; they would have only what little supplies could fit into their backpack and then suffer thirst during long journeys that often took days just get from point A (their starting location) all way to their destination. Sometimes these travelers wouldn't make any distance at all because they became too exhausted--and died trapped between places!
