Abstract Woman Painting

In keeping with the theme of the Women’s Empowerment over the years, my painting is dedicated to Emirati women who have progressed through time towards empowering themselves. Their empowerment has made them blossom & stand tall with confidence & embrace their unique Emirati identity. Their lives have come a full circle & this reflects in their accomplishments. The Emirati women have taken control of their time & made their place valuable in society. The artwork is a combination of zentangles in a mandala grid using acrylic paints, acrylic paint pens, markers, felt cutouts & mirrors.

Irum Habeeb is a self-taught artist specializing in the intricate art of Zentangling, transitioning from paper to complex hand-painted ceramics. Her work features detailed freehand patterns cured and baked onto vases and plates, creating unique home décor pieces that inspire connection and conversation.
