'End of Route 66' was captured when Dominik was exploring Los Angeles in June of 2023. This piece is part of the ‘States 23’ Collection. Dominik captured these shots while he was exploring LA on a photo walk. He has produced his favorite photographs from this journey to create this collection. This piece is called 'End of Route 66' as this is when the famous street ends at Santa Monica Pier.

The Pier has been used in many movies and has a sense of magic and excitement around it. The sun is shining onto the people and it also adds to the real feel of the atmosphere. The people here are relaxing and enjoying their lives. Really absorbing the American lifestyle, Dominik loved the symbolism of the end of Route 66. A journey through America to this magical final destination of Santa Monica Pier.
