Here’s an extended version with the technical details included: This second version of the artwork expands on the themes of anguish and euphoria, presenting them in a more symbolic form. The central focus is a spiral, representing the passage of time and the repetitive cycle of emotional pain and healing. The soft pink elements from the previous piece reappear, symbolizing moments of joy and euphoria, while the red subtly hints at heartache. The addition of shoe prints further emphasizes emotional progression, suggesting that pain is not an endpoint but part of a larger journey. Together, the spiral and footprints convey the idea that emotional experiences—both struggles and triumphs—ultimately lead to growth and understanding. To achieve this composition, I used various techniques such as overlaying and blending colors to create a textured and layered effect. Different types of brushes were used, ranging from large brushes for bold, sweeping strokes to finer ones for detailed work. I also experimented with splashing paint onto the canvas to introduce an element of spontaneity and energy. This technique added a dynamic, unpredictable texture that contrasts with the carefully painted spiral. All colors were mixed on the palette to ensure a harmonious and unique appearance. The medium is acrylic paint, chosen for its vibrant and flexible qualities, applied to a stretched wood canvas for a strong, lasting surface.
