Artist derives his painting inspiration from the works of great expressionist painter like Francis Bacon and Type Mehta. Raptors ( birds of prey) are apex predators known for their strength, speed, fierceness , intelligence and sharp vision.

Alpha male's have to fight amongst themselves for dominance over food and mates. Figurines of Raptors are deliberately distorted to create tension, display energy and high voltage drama in this painting. The bright Red orange blocks in the background symbolizes the scattered throne of dominance and honor ( ego or self respect) of the loosing Raptor.

Its neutral dark de-saturated hue and it's rigid body posture, indicates it's deteriorating strength and agility. While on the contrary, the dominating and more powerful Raptor is painted in yellow orange hue overpowering the other, to display it's aggression and strength. It's portrayed more agile and flexible compared to it's opponent.

It shows mother nature follows a cycle, where someone begins when the other ends. Nothing is permanent in our world, nor we living beings nor our ideologies. If we don't adopt to situations and are incompetent, we will be replaced by the more powerful ones. Philosophically, the artist relates it with the clashes that occur in human psyche.

Our thoughts are a blend of different emotions and feeling which further transforms into either positive or negative thoughts. These opposite thoughts try to suppress and dominate each other, and our choice of thoughts directly influences the decision we make in our lives, be it good or bade find ourselves in state of mind, where we are struck in a turbulence of such thoughts. The thought which dominates, decides the parameters of our success or failure in life.
