The eyes are the windows to our soul. When the words refrain out the tongue, eyes speak volumes. The artist feels that the eye through which she sees God is the same eye through which God sees her. Her eye and God’s eye is one eye, through which god and she sees, knows, and love. This Holy Spirit works through the artist by seeing through her eyes and protecting her from the uncertainties of the future. These artworks are depictions of the artist's own self. My artwork is autobiographical in a sense. The artist creates this black and white painting that reflects all the secrets through her eyes, to give depth to the artwork.
