My thought process behind the fusion of blues with teal and dark tones of blue was to portray the contrasting effect and it has to make a powerful color like gray and a royal color like brown, simply be humbling. Yet again, with the use of alcohol inks, I have created a diffusion of different tones of blue to merge and flow into one another. With each swirl of color, with each swish of one shade merging into another, and with each layer merging into another, this painting makes me feel comfortable and at ease.
