Abstract Acrylic Painting

This is part of an abstract series I have created. GOLDEN SPIRIT Painted with Acrylic and powdered pearlescent on canvas using a color palette of Gold and light blue. I was inspired by the desert and water living here in the United Arab Emirates. I spent countless hours coming up and drawing out with right design and shapes before proceeding with the painting. I incorporated various textures and techniques yet keeping it subtle to not overpower the painting. This was done in layers with just the right amount of antiquity. This elegant series goes well in any décor. This artwork specifically breaks down shapes and forms, united by line and color, giving harmony. The shapes represent the rising sun with a halo effect..
