Camel Oil Painting

This colourful and cheerful painting shows a happy camel, its fur alive with bright, playful colours. It is a bold pop art camel portrait full of positive emotion-the very opposite of how we usually imagine these calm, dignified desert animals! Through this work, I wanted to show how joyful and full of colour life can be, even in a desert landscape that some might call "boring". Look closer and the desert reveals golden light, shifting dunes and creatures with real personality.

The painting celebrates this hidden beauty and the everyday colour of life in the Middle East, inviting the viewer to see a familiar subject with fresh, curious and smiling eyes. This piece is part of my new series inspired by the wildlife of the Middle East, where I explore the animals of the region with warmth, humour and affection, celebrating their character and resilience. It is an oil painting on canvas, measuring 60 × 60 cm. A protective varnish makes the rich colours shine and keeps the surface safe for many years to come. This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted original artwork, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity-a joyful statement piece for a home, office or collection.
