The painting depicts the intricacy of Indian folk arts namely, Madhubani and Pichwai. Madhubani paintings often have characteristics like complex geometrical patterns. They are also well known for the representation of ritual content on special occasions like festivals and religious rituals. Pichwai painting style was originated over 400 years ago, in the town of Nathdwara near Udaipur in Rajasthan, India. Intricate and visually stunning, pichwai paintings, made on cloth, depict tales from Lord Krishna's life. They are from different parts of India and generally depict the traditions and culture of India in a colorful manner. The intricate work of this painting is ideal to adorn any place in the house. Its beauty is enhanced by the dot mandala work done around all the different themes. The painting is primarily done with acrylic. Oil pastels, pastel pencils, and color pencils have also been used to enhance the beauty of the painting.
