Landscape Acrylic Painting

A hyper realistic landscape painting, using the technique of blocked in and glazing painted before adding on the details. The medium used is heavy body acrylics on a canvas board panel. This painting titled 'Into The Skies' is inspired from a photo reference of an un-named place. The formation of the clouds grouped systematically towards their journey into the horizon unknown is the inspiration behind the title of this painting. Through this painting, I want the viewers' eyes to experience the magical glory of the morning sky and feel how the golds of the dawning sun etches out in between the clouds' claim of the sky. The pyramid of rugged mountains with patches of greens at the foreground of the painting is my artist's attempt to suggest it is at its highest peak but is overpowered by the daring presence of white clouds and blue sky in the generous undertones of grey and gold!
