Pattern Acrylic Painting

It’s titled ISHQ - as it symbolizes becoming one with the universe in love of the divine - the colors of autumn all around the likeliness of the whirling dervish with arms as bare leafless branches like autumn trees yet feet deeply rooted to the ground represent “ishq-e-haqiqi” just like the deep, true and divine love for the Almighty. I’m quite awed by the Sufi whirling dervishes known for their extreme devotion, ways of showing it as well as the hypnotic effect it has on their audience and this can often be seen in my artworks.

I have always been fascinated by intricate patterns which are seen in zentangle art & mandalas. I self-learnt these art forms in 2015 & have since been practicing them & bettering myself every day. For me, drawing something intricately is a therapeutic & stress-relieving exercise. I seem to draw my inspiration from anyone & anywhere! I use all kinds and brands of markers n paints & paint pens on paper, canvas, wood, ceramic, resin, etc. to create exclusive artworks I feel honored that my pieces occupy a place of pride in some homes.
