"Khafaya" (Hidden) is a painting created with oil and acrylic. It depicts buildings and towering skyscrapers that stand close together in varying heights and shapes, as if in a race with a boundless sky.

"Khafaya" tells the story of a person living in one of these homes in this life. This individual is not running away from anything; rather, they are cloaked in their secrets and thoughts. It is my story, your story, and the story of each one of us. The need to disappear within the chaos of life has become a natural obligation to find comfort and independence.

The noise of modern life now necessitates that we hide, even if just for a few hours. The realm of technology spares no one, and even nature has been stripped away, forcing us to travel here and there just to breathe in the scent of free earth. We seek distance from all manifestations of progress and prosperity, hoping to discover tranquility and peace. I used shades of green and brown in the painting, as if it absorbed the colors of the earth and stripped the towers of cement and glass. Even the sky in the artwork blends colors of green, yellow, and white, yearning for a path to light and serenity.
