Statue of Liberty Photography Print

'LIBERTY' is part of the ‘States 23’ Prints collection. This piece was taken while Dominik was exploring New York City in November 2023. He captured these images while he was on one of many of his breathtaking New York City photo walks. This is a collection of his favorite shots taken. Dominik took this photograph while he was onboard the ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island. The ferry ride triggered a historical emotion for Dominik. He witnessed many landmarks that had such powerful historical value.

He wanted to make sure the importance of the motive was being portrayed by shooting in black and white and not color, thus correlating to the time in which this statue was erected. He wanted to make sure that the motive was the focus and not the colors. The power and meaning behind the statue should stand out above all else.
