Krishna Painting

Hari Charan. This is an A2 sized painting made on pastel paper. I have made it with oil pastels, kundan jewelry, 3D gold outliners and acrylics for texture . The dhoti or the clothes are made with metallic colors to bring out a shine in the dress.

The jewelry has been done using kundan stones and special paints to give the effect of semi precious stones. In order to enhance the 3D effect I have used 3D gold outliner around the border of the painting and to make the border of the dhoti and some parts of the jewelry on the feet.

The border has been enriched by adding Prussian blue backdrop with gold color work on top of it. The entire emotion behind making this piece was to seek hid divine’s blessings and thank him for all that he has given me. In order to envision his presence, only his feet are enough because that is where our world lies. This one is to show my gratitude for everything.
