Landscape Mixed Media Painting

It’s not called the city of love for no reason. When I went to Paris, I instantly fell in love with the city myself. The architecture, the food, the weather and the company all made my trip worth remembering.

Just wanted to come home and paint a cute picture of the splendor of Eiffel tower to remind me of my pleasant stay in France. The painting is made on pastel paper for longevity. Two techniques namely sgrafitto and impasto have been extensively used in the painting to bring out the details on the bridge, the bench and the trees respectively.

The cloud has been made in the shape of the heart to emphasize the whole essence of this painting - love. A great anniversary or valentine gift or simply put it in your house to strengthen the bonds of love.
