Flowers Painting

To bloom, is the greatest achievement to a growing flora. Blooming is what makes us appreciate all the beauty that it encompasses. We spot and get attracted to plants not for their lush green wonders but for their delicate pops of color, their blooms. I have tried to do justice to this beauty standard of blooms with this new alcohol ink artwork of abstract blooms. Any painter’s strength lies in their abstract work because it’s where we truly get to express ourselves and our visions, and the usage of alcohol ink further allows me to put soul to paper and still create pieces full of color and life! I love the colors of this particular piece so much because they remind me of what it feels like to lie in a garden of pink and red roses. Red roses are the biggest symbol that are used to portray everything synonymous with love. This is what this painting reminds me of- Love. Through the abstract nature of the painting, I try to leave the interpretation of this painting to the eyes of the beholder, because everyone feels love differently and I hope through the abstract petals of my blooms, the viewer is reminded of a loved one.
