The idea of trying a new art technique with the concept of BIRTH sounded intriguing to the artist. It was as if with the birth of a baby a new strength, new confidence had risen. Being a new mother herself she had begun to recognize her energies within. They seemed to be starting to flow effortlessly. This painting is her version of portraying this universal language in the most surreal form of flowing vibrant colors and following its own path within the body that turns out to invisibly give the child strength, compassion, and above all LOVE. The art significance of green in this painting depicts the growth of a young one and simultaneously the growth of a mother's journey. The vibrant colors are the colors of life that exist within each of us and must be tapped in one form or another. For the artist, this was the most significant journey that helped her to realize the powerful energies she as a parent had discovered and had the capacity to pass it on to her child. The MAGIC within was unleashed in this painting.
