Classroom Sketch

This is my farewell gift to my grade 4 class teacher who was a fantastic mentor and person. I have drawn myself and all my classmates around him while capturing the quirks of every single person in the frame. For example, a girl who never removes her hoodies and her hands are always in her jacket, a boy who broke his leg and was in a wheelchair almost half the year, another girl who always comes with a ponytail, so and so forth… The point is that a class is made of individuals of different characters – moody, excited, sporty, artistic, talkative etc. But it’s the teacher’s ability to keep them together as a close-knit class.
