Light Painting Art

This work was shot in the Greater Khingan Mountains, near the China-Russia border, in front of a Black Dragon sculpture. Roy Wang drew the image of a white dragon - a beautiful legend, a dragon figure created with light painting. This work is also an important piece in Roy Wang's Mythical Creatures series.

Hailed as China’s leading light-painting artist, Roy Wang pioneers a Chinese Romantic aesthetic, reviving mythical creatures from the ancient classic Shan Hai Jing across modern architectural skylines. Holding four Guinness World Records, his viral creations use light as a brush and the night as a canvas, captured entirely in-camera without any digital manipulation or post-processing.
