As an artist that lives in the U.A.E., I am fascinated by the amazing architecture of Dubai. The Burj Khalifa is an architectural icon and a marvel of engineering. While the tower never changes physically, the color and shade of the Burj changes daily, It is magical to see. I was inspired to create the Burj with the UAE National colors of the flag after I saw it proudly illuminated with the Nation colors. It was so beautiful and it was very exciting to shape it into a painting on canvas. This painting was made with gallery-quality acrylic paint and an acrylic pen using a modern art cartoonish technique. The painting is framed in a wooden white color frame. The artist uses fine art as a medium to express the love she has for Dubai, the city the artist calls home. The simplicity of the colors and textures creates depth makes this painting.
