Abstract Oil Painting

This abstract structural painting, inspired by Mark Rothko, integrates my concept of a flat blue acrylic background juxtaposed with orange oil paint applied with a palette knife, imparting volume and structure to the piece. The upper rectangular section of the artwork features a grid design with a harmonious blend of colors reminiscent of sunset hues by the seaside – a moment evoking pure happiness and relaxation upon witnessing it. The lower section, characterized by cold blue tones, draws inspiration from the snow-covered grids from my childhood—a landscape both beautiful and subtly treacherous. Through layers of oil paint, I imbue the artwork with my fascination for universal balance and energies, creating a synthesis of visual elements that invite contemplation and reflection.
