Flower Oil Painting

Petals & Prose was inspired by a bouquet that instantly caught the artist’s attention. Knowing that flowers are fleeting and their beauty lasts only for a short while, she felt compelled to preserve the moment before the blossoms faded away. What began as a simple bouquet became a lasting memory on canvas, transforming a temporary arrangement into a timeless piece of art. The composition brings together delicate daisies, soft pink blooms, and rich purple accents, each flower contributing its own character to the visual narrative. The daisies, with their bright centres and graceful petals, create a sense of lightness and joy, while the surrounding flowers add warmth, depth, and elegance.

Through expressive brushstrokes and layered textures, the painting captures more than the appearance of the bouquet—it preserves the emotion of that moment. Like pages filled with beautiful words, each petal tells a story of beauty, impermanence, and remembrance. Petals & Prose is a tribute to nature’s ability to create fleeting moments that linger in our hearts long after the flowers themselves have faded.
