Horses Oil Painting

While I was painting, I was watching the Percy Jackson movie. This painting was inspired by the Greek God. I named my art pieces Poseidon. I love horses, the speed, the momentum of their thought is so strong, I wanted to have that in my canvas. I used oil paint to bring the natural movement and steady flow of shades of blue and purple.

There are Hippocampi which are creatures that resemble a combination of a horse and fish. They are under the jurisdiction of the god of the seas, Poseidon. These creatures that from the waist up have the body of a horse and from the waist down have silvery fish bodies, with glistening scales and rainbow-colored tail-fins. They were used to draw Poseidon's chariot, and seafoam was created by their movement.
