"Private Collection" is a trilogy that celebrates the beauty of diversity through three iconic trees: the Cherry Blossom, the Palm Tree, and the Tree with Falling Leaves. Each tree represents a distinct environment and culture, yet they share the same textured golden background, symbolizing the universal connection between us all. The title "Private Collection" reflects the intimate bond I feel with this series. Each tree is unique, much like the individuals and experiences that shape our lives. The inspiration behind this work stems from the idea of unity amidst diversity—although we may appear different, we are all part of the same journey of life, from beginning to endings. Using thick oil paint and a palette knife, I applied vibrant dabs of color to create the foliage, giving each tree a dynamic, textured appearance. The layering technique creates depth and movement, inviting the viewer to feel the vibrancy of life within each piece. The golden background serves as a reminder of the shared essence that connects all living things. This painting holds a special place in my heart because it expresses a message of harmony and shared humanity. I hope viewers see beyond the individual trees to appreciate the underlying unity in diversity.
