'Rollerskates' was captured when Dominik was exploring Los Angeles in June of 2023. This piece is part of the ‘States 23’ Collection. Dominik captured these shots while he was exploring LA on a photo walk. He has produced his favorite photographs from this journey to create this collection. ‘Rollerskates’ really made Dominik feel like he was capturing a movie scene.

The moment was very romantic and cinematic. Two new friends roller skating together, enjoying life, having fun, being carefree, and forgetting about all the worries of the world. As Dominik was watching these two ‘Dance’ with each other, he was also drawn into the lifestyle they were leading. Venice Beach gives off the vibe of everyone being friends and there for the same reason. The idea Dominik loved was that sports was being merged with arts and fashion. The background of sun and palm trees and the foreground of roller skaters showed the beautiful vibes of Los Angeles. The piece can romanticise life and Dominik loved that.
