Space Girl Pop Art Painting

Fleur Josephine is a full-time artist currently living and working in Dubai. Fleur is most known for her portraits of people and animals, but also for her colorful paintings. The original photo for Harpers Bazaar in 1965 with the supermodel Jean Schrimpton in a NASA spacesuit has stayed in Fleur’s memory for many years. The artist was always planning on painting her. With the first Emirati woman astronaut the artwork got a whole new meaning and it inspired to artist to finally finish the artwork. The artist made it unique by putting her own touch and love into the piece. A new favorite for the artist herself.
