This is an acrylic painting using the technique of blocked in and glazing before the details are added on to the subject. Mosques are an integral part of UAE and it boasts of many such beautiful architectures all across the country. This painting is an artist's impression of a mosque that illuminates the spirit of faith amongst the believers. The artist sets this painting at the turn of dusk, where the artist chose to define the mosque as a mesmerizing silhouette of browns. The glimpse of setting sun drowns away behind the mosque structure in bliss but leaves an illuminating glow all around it. The early setting of evening sky glows with stars against the backdrop of browns and violet.

The water, painted as the colors of the sky gives a connection of wholeness between the water and the sky. The setting glow of the sun shimmers in the water and enhances the reflection of the silhouetted mosque in the evening waters. The viewer is drawn to the reflection of the mosque as it creates a rippling significance of its presence.
