Lord Ganesha is one of the main deities in Hindu culture. He is considered as epitome of auspiciousness and purity. He is remover of obstacles and God of wisdom. Sumukh means “one with a beautiful face,” highlights Lord Ganesha’s serene and auspicious appearance. Despite his unique and sometimes intimidating features, Ganesha’s visage is considered charming and captivating. His large ears symbolize wisdom, as they are said to catch all the knowledge in the world, while his small eyes indicate focus and concentration. This name reminds devotees of the divine beauty that lies within, beyond the physical form.

This artwork is created using acrylic paints on stretched canvas. In this artwork, Lord Ganesha is painted with beautiful and soft hues of pink, purple and blue. The contrasting background of red and violet makes the artwork appealing and captivating. Being Ganesha devotee myself, creating this artwork was a spiritual experience for me and this artwork is very close to my heart.
