Sunspell came from one of those quiet afternoons when everything just feels golden. the kind of light that makes you stop, breathe, and take it in. I wasn’t planning anything specific when I started this piece. I just picked up my brush and let the colors guide me. Yellows, soft oranges, a little green, warm tones that felt like sunlight itself. Not the bright, blinding kind, but the kind that lands gently on your skin and stays with you. As I painted, it felt less like creating something and more like remembering a feeling.

The name Sunspell came naturally. like the sun had cast a little spell over that moment, and I somehow caught it on the canvas. To me, this piece holds a kind of quiet joy. It doesn’t shout; it glows. It reminds me of stillness, warmth, and the kind of peace that sneaks up on you without making a big deal of it. That’s what I hope this painting offers. a soft place to land. Just something simple and warm that makes you pause, even for a second, and feel good.
