Abstract Oil Painting

This oil painting was inspired by the stunningly beautiful town of Taormina in Sicily. It is a gorgeous hilltop town with spectacular views and an enchanting allure that fills the air. One of my favorite aspects of this incredible town is its foaming beaches. The waters are strikingly blue and sparkle brilliantly under the Sicilian sunlight. Indeed, Taormina is the very essence of Sicilian charm.

Through this painting, I try to convey my experience of Taormina. I used a mix of bold colors to really reflect the enjoyment and thrill that Taormina affords its visitors. I try to use color to capture the sunnily upbeat yet classy personality of this town.
