Every day we choose how to view the world. A single choice changes everything. I have always believed that our reality is shaped less by what happens around us and more by what we decide to see. This painting was born from that thought. The world offers us countless moments, emotions, memories, and possibilities all at once. They exist together, yet each of us leaves with a different story because we choose where to place our attention. The figure is not looking for answers outside of itself. It is discovering that awareness begins within.

The eye becomes a symbol of consciousness, of that quiet moment when we pause and decide how we will experience the world. Every choice, no matter how small, becomes the beginning of a different path. the floating circles are fragments of life. some carry light, some hold uncertainty, and others simply invite curiosity. they move through the space like thoughts passing through the mind. they are neither good nor bad until we give them meaning. I painted this work as a reminder that perspective is one of the few things that truly belongs to us. We cannot always change our circumstances, but we can change the way we meet them. Sometimes that single shift is enough to transform an ordinary moment into something entirely new. The Choice is an invitation to pause and ask yourself one simple question. What will you choose to see today!
