The inspiration for this piece stems from the division that led to a civil war in my hometown country. The painting captures the complexity of human diversity: vibrant, colorful strokes represent individuals of all races and ideologies, while the gap, depicted as a single solid hue, emphasizes the stark simplicity of what separates us. This contrast highlights that the barriers we perceive are often less complicated than the diverse perspectives that enrich humanity.
