Abstract City Painting

Every city has its own color palette. This breathtaking view of the old city is the reward when you climb more than 280 circular steps in a tower of a cathedral. A stunning rust colored landscape of Praha (Prague). The breathlessness after climbing so many steps just vanishes when one feels the wind in hair. This is a very happy memory from my travel. I had to make a painting of this beautiful city. Rust colored rooftops, river finding its way through the crowded city, so many bridges and the tightly built buildings. I have painted same memory in abstract strokes. But this painting I decided to create in detailed graphical style. The painting is done in all flat colored strokes. Colors are not mixed like usual painting style. Still the contrast between flat colors give an amazing 3d look to the painting.
